Rolls-Royce is in the middle of another quandary. Why are its engines on the largest commercial plane in service suddenly prone to failure? As the article points out, it is not the first time Rolls-Royce has been in this position, but there is little time for the company to find the problem before it loses credibility with its air carrier customers, regulators and the nervous public.
